CBSE Class 7th English Passage Based Question Chapter 7 The Invention of Vita-Wonk

Paragraph 1:

Mr. Willy Wonka, ever the eccentric inventor, created a peculiar product called Wonka-Vite to make people younger. However, it proved too powerful, causing some individuals to vanish as their age dropped into the negatives. In one instance, a person became minus eighty-seven years old, meaning they would have to wait that many years to return. Faced with this dilemma, Mr. Wonka rolled up his sleeves and embarked on a new project to counteract the effects of Wonka-Vite. This time, he aimed to create something that could age people—making them “old, older, oldest.” Inspired by the world’s oldest living organisms, he decided to gather ingredients from ancient creatures and trees, starting with the remarkable Bristlecone Pine, known to live over 4,000 years on Wheeler Peak in Nevada.

Among these rare creatures were the Whistle-Pig, the Bobolink, the Skrock, the Pollyfrog, the Giant Curlicue, the Stinging Slug, and the Venomous Squerkle, which could spit poison from fifty yards.
